[Marvel] Howard the Duck Omnibus 再版(update)

早已絶版的Howard the Duck Omnibus 是漫畫收藏者的天書之一，現在終於確定重印。今天comicbook.com 向Diamond Distributor 發行商確認了Marvel 會把Howard the Duck Omnibus 重印並會在10月出版，售價是100美元。喜歡這個角色的朋友不容錯過。這個版本收錄Adventures into Fear #19, Giant Size Man-Thing #4-5, Howard the Duck #1-33, Marvel Treasury Edition #12, Marvel Team-Up #96等故事。突然宣佈再版的原因可能是因為Guardians of the Galaxy 片尾彩蛋裏有Howard the Duck 出現的原故，因此引起大眾的好奇心，所以藉此把這部Omnibus 重印。所以我們這些漫畫迷必需要多謝guardians of the galaxy 導演James Gunn, 如果他沒有把Howard the Duck 放進彩蛋，我們也沒有機會看到Howard the Duck 重印。電影裏由Seth Green 為Howard the Duck 配音。

Howard the Duck 是Marvel 在1973年創造的角色，首次出場是Adventure into Fear #19, 創造者是Steve Gerber和Val Mayerik。Howard the Duck 不是唐老鴨，兩個角色不一樣千萬不要認錯。Howard the Duck 來自一個叫Duckworld 的平行世界，在這個世界裏的鴨可以說英文。Duckworld 這個世界是由一群擬人化的動物統治，並不是只有鴨。後來Howard 被妖魔放逐到Marvel 616世界的佛羅里達洲的大沼澤上，在地球認識到Man thing, Korrek the Barbarian, Jennifer Kale, Dakimh the Enchanter 等人，後來留在地球裏。Howard the Duck 沒有任何超人/超鴨能力，但是有一種叫Quak-Fu 的功夫幫他對付敵人。同時Howard the Duck 亦有很強的魔法天賦，Doctor Strange 曾教導他一些咒語，甚至主動要求收他作學徒指導他魔法，但是被Howard the Duck 拒絕。Howard 的招牌武器是Big Freaking Gun (BFG) 由Moebius 製造給他。

除此以外Howard the Duck 曾在1986年時拍攝電影版，由Lea Thompson, Tim Gibbons, Jeffrey Jones 主演，監製是Gloria Katz和George Lucas。原本是計劃把Howard the Duck 拍成電影，只是因為要履行合約義務而必須拍成真人電影。只是電影一出後劣評如潮，票房成績也十分不理想，很多評論者認為選擇把Howard the Duck 拍成真人電影而不是動畫電影是最大的敗筆之處。排除掉這些負面評論，Howard the Duck 這部電影也引來了一班喜歡cult 電影的粉絲和原作書迷觀賞。可以説Howard the Duck 比Ironman 更早出現在大銀幕上。
